Climbing camps provide youth with a unique opportunity to build confidence, strength, and problem-solving skills in a fun and supportive environment. Our camps—offered during winter, school breaks, and summer—focus on teaching valuable climbing techniques, encouraging teamwork, and fostering a love for adventure.
With experienced instructors and engaging activities, participants develop both physically and mentally while making lasting friendships. Whether they are new to climbing or looking to enhance their skills, our camps offer an exciting way for youth to stay active and challenged all year round.
Join us for an exciting all-day climbing camp designed for kids ages 6 and up. Our School’s Out Camp teaches the basics of climbing through a fun, skill-based curriculum. Campers will practice new techniques, enjoy games, and participate in special events throughout the day. With all equipment provided and experienced instructors guiding them, kids are sure to have an unforgettable adventure.
Campers of all experience levels will learn essential rock climbing skills and techniques while enjoying all the classic summer camp fun—snacks, crafts, and games included. Our camps blend youth-focused instruction with exciting activities that keep kids engaged, challenged, and eager to return for more. Designed to instill courage, confidence, and problem-solving abilities, we ensure each camper feels supported as they push their limits in a fun and safe environment.
In preparation for the Climb Nittany Crankdown, we will be closing boulder areas throughout the week. Our setting crew will be stripping sections and preparing the competition blocs for the event. Closures are as follows:
⭐️Tuesday, 11/11 - 7:30pm - Full Cave, Front Prow, West Wall Left
⭐️Wednesday, 11/12 - 7:30pm - West Wall Right, Full Slab
⭐️Thursday, 11/13 - All competition bouldering terrain closed
The back of the island, spray wall, and all rope climbing will remain open through Saturday, 11/15 until the Crankdown check-in begins at 3:00pm.
Bear with us as we set some fresh, exciting, thought-provoking schtuff! It’ll be worth the wait! 🔥
The full gym will be back open to the public starting Sunday 11/16 at 9:00am.
