Helping Everyone Climb

Open Door Program

The Open Door Program is a tool for growing and serving the climbing community across all demographics. This program is a community wide effort to make climbing accessible and to cultivate a climbing community that reflects the diversity of the geographic regions we serve. We feel that is best accomplished through reducing as many barriers to climbing as possible, one of those being financial.

Offering a program like this requires the entire community to believe in it for it to be sustainable. This belief includes honesty and trust about true financial need. Additionally, the ability to offer this program is limited and depends on community supporters (Door Openers). We can’t do it without you.

Apply for an Open Door Membership

Our Open Door Membership is intended for those whose financial situation prevents them from climbing. It is a self-select in/out program. We trust that individuals will be truthful about their financial situations. These memberships will be granted in the order that applications are received and can take between 4-6 weeks to process. If the program is full, you will be placed on a waiting list until we get more Door Openers or a spot opens up.
