Lock-Ins
Experience a unique adventure with Vertical Adventures group lock-ins. Perfect for team building and bonding, our lock-ins include climbing, harness rentals, and expert instruction. You can bring your own food and drinks to enjoy during the event. Climbing runs from 10 PM to 2 AM.
Enhancements
Amp up your event. We offer a variety of add-ons. Your guests will be delighted with branded apparel or gifts and saves you time and energy that can be better spent partying.

Host Tools
Don’t waste your party time. Get your guests to fill out their waiver before the event. When you book, you will receive an access link via email to help you manage this process.
Things to know before you book a session
Reservations must be made 21 days in advance. Is your date less than 21 days away? Email us at info@ohioclimbs.com. There are times when we can accommodate requests. It’s worth asking.
We require full payment at the time of booking.
Minimum ratio of 1 belayer (rope holder) for every 5 climbers.
We can train people 14 yrs and up how to Top Rope Belay (hold the rope) for lock-ins. Instruction takes 30-60 minutes.

Starting December 2nd, all fixed ropes at our facility will have a Grigri belay device permanently attached. If you already have a Top Rope proficiency card, you’ll need to demonstrate your proficiency using a Grigri. Don’t worry—quick lessons will be available if needed!
Why this change?
Assisted braking devices (we are using Grigris) are becoming the standard in climbing gyms across the country and internationally. Our goal is to make climbing more accessible for everyone who visits us. This system allows us to introduce new climbers to the joy of climbing, helping them get on the ropes and up the wall with ease.
